About Church in the Meadows
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Church in the Meadows is a caring community of faith that provides a warm,
welcoming place for people to explore what it means to follow Jesus Christ in the 21st century. We are a moderate Baptist
Congregation that celebrates the freedom of every individual to think through his or her own faith under the authority of Scripture
and the leadership of the Spirit of Christ. Our congregation wants to provide a context where people can ask honest questions and
receive authentic answers to issues of faith and life in our modern world. Furthermore, we want to provide a loving and supportive
environment for people who need a family of friends as we all experience the joys and endure the struggles of life. We currently
meet on Sunday mornings for Bible Study and Worship at the Yellow House in South Lakeland.
Our Worship times begin at 10:30am and are a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs. Casual dress is the norm,
and a nursery and children's church are provided. Please take some time to explore our website. If you have any questions, feel free
