Bible Study and Sunday School Classes
Sunday school and Bible study classes are an important part of the programs offered by the Church in the Meadows.
They meet each Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate.
The following is a break down of the various groups:
Preschool and Young Children - ONE ROOM materials used
Youth - INTERSECTION MATERIALS BY SMYTH AND HELWYS
Adult Classes:
GRACE CLASS - The class name is inspired by the perpetual grace extended through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
but also by our most beloved, Grace Morrow, who in her life, modeled grace in action for us daily. The class encourages
the sharing and exploration of diverse viewpoints that challenge our traditional thinking as we consider a number of faith
and life issues, particularly as they relate to social justice.
THE GOOD NEWS CLASS - the class is made up of a cross section of age groups, whose main purpose is to learn more about
God’s word, and its application to contemporary issues. Thematic material is taken from the Smyth Helwys Curriculum and
presented in such a way as to foster discussions, questions, or comments. Winter quarter lessons include GOD’S HOLY WORLD,
THE WILDERNESS GENERATION, THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP, AND OUR INHERITANCE IN CHRIST.
